Day 5 of the LPRES SME-PFI Regional Training Programme concluded on a joyful and successful note, with smiles evident on the faces of participating Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The final day marked the end of an impactful and enriching training programme aimed at strengthening SME capacity and improving access to finance through effective collaboration with Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs).

Throughout the training, SMEs benefited from practical and interactive sessions focused on business development, financial management, credit readiness, and risk assessment. The programme provided participants with valuable insights and tools necessary to enhance their business operations and position them for sustainable growth.

The closing ceremony was highlighted by the presentation of home gifts and awards to selected participants in recognition of their active participation, commitment, and outstanding performance during the training. These tokens of appreciation added a celebratory atmosphere to the event and served as motivation for the SMEs to apply the knowledge gained.

Participants expressed heartfelt appreciation to LPRES, the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), and the World Bank for organizing and supporting the successful training programme. Many SMEs acknowledged that the initiative had significantly improved their understanding of financial processes and strengthened their confidence in engaging with financial institutions.
