The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) project, in partnership with Enugu State’s Veterinary Services Department, received vital vaccine doses earlier in February 2026, including for Contagious Bovine Pleuro-Pneumonia (CBPP), Newcastle Disease, and Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD).
Vaccination teams are actively immunizing livestock across the specified LGAs to curb disease outbreaks and enhance productivity.
This exercise is Scheduled to conclude on March 8, 2026, the exercise covers thousands of animals, building on Enugu’s proactive agro-industrial agenda.
