The Enugu State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project Office warmly received a delegation from the Young Farmers Network on a strategic collaboration visit. The team was led by Mrs. Uche Euphemia and came with the objective of strengthening partnerships and promoting active youth participation in the livestock sector.

During the visit, both parties engaged in robust discussions centered on key areas of mutual interest, including:
* Youth empowerment and capacity building
* Enhancement of livestock productivity
* Entrepreneurship development and market access
* Adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices

Both the Young Farmers Network and the L-PRES Project Office expressed a strong commitment to exploring practical and actionable areas of partnership. The goal is to create sustainable opportunities for young farmers while contributing meaningfully to the development and growth of the livestock sector in Enugu State.

Dr. Ifeanyi Elizabeth Nnajieze, the State Project Coordinator, reaffirmed the critical importance of collaboration among government agencies, development projects, farmer organisations, and youth groups. He emphasized that such partnerships are essential for achieving sustainable agricultural development in the state.
