Day 3 of the LPRES SME–PFI Regional Training was characterized by a highly engaging and interactive session that brought together Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs). The session encouraged open dialogue, experience sharing, and practical learning, anchored by a thought-provoking rhetorical question that was clearly addressed through robust discussions. This exchange strengthened mutual understanding and reinforced collaboration between SMEs and PFIs toward effective project implementation.

The day further featured a field visit to the poultry and piggery cluster sites located in Ngwo, Enugu State. During the visit, participants observed ongoing operations, production processes, and management practices within the clusters. The hands-on exposure provided valuable insights into livestock value chains, operational challenges, and growth opportunities. Overall, the visit was both enlightening and fulfilling, leaving participants with a satisfying practical experience and a deeper appreciation of the clusters’ contribution to sustainable agribusiness development.
